This is similar to my power date smoothie I did a few weeks back. I have added maca powder and avocado. Avocado makes it creamy and you can’t really taste it, it is also full of healthy fats which imakes it even better. I tend to have this smoothie in the mornings or sometimes in the afternoon if I am craving something sweet. It is delicious!
Ingredients
1 banana
1/2 an avocado
3 dates
1 cup of almond milk
1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1 teaspoon of maca powder ( I use organic burst)
1 scoop of Sunwarrior vegan protein powder
For the topping
Cacao nibs and strawberries
Peel the banana and avocado, remove the stone from the avocado and dates and place all the ingredients into the blender and blend till lovely and smooth. You can add some ice if you prefer it cold. Pour into a glass or bowl, add the strawberries and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
