Raw cacao, almond and date bliss balls

I love bliss balls. They are so quick and easy to make and are great if you crave something sweet or if you are looking for a post workout snack. Dates are incredibly alkaline and almonds are packed full of goodness. Almonds are a good source of protein, fibre and are rich in vitamin E, potassium, magnesium and calcium.

Ingredients

1 cup of medjool dates

1 cup of almonds

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

1-2 tablespoon of raw cacao, depending on how much chocolate you like

Shredded coconut

Start by blending the almonds in a food processor for one minute. Then add all the remaining ingredients except the shredded coconut and blend till a sticky dough forms. Roll into bite sized balls and roll them into the shredded coconut. Place the bliss balls in the refrigerator for 15 minutes and enjoy!image
