Matcha Bliss Balls Recipe

Matcha is green tea leaves that have been ground into a very fine powder. It is rich in antioxidants and a great energy booster. It is also very versatile, as you can drink it with almond milk or use it in your cooking. I decided to make some matcha bliss balls as they are an ideal healthy on-the-go snack. You can make batches and store them in the freezer.

Matcha Bliss Ball Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of cashew butter
  • 1 teaspoon of matcha powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons of raw honey or maple syrup

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend till a sticky dough forms. Matcha powder is bitter, so before you start rolling the mixture into bite-sized balls, taste it to see if you need to add some more sweetener. Personally, I don’t like it too sweet. Once you have rolled your balls, you can roll them in some desiccated coconut and place them in the fridge to set. Once ready, enjoy!
