I have to admit that I tend to favour more savoury foods than sweets , however when I do fancy something sweet these chocolate cups remain one of my favourite treats. You can fill them with coyo coconut yoghurt or fruit. I love mine with strawberries. Hope you enjoy these with your loved one.
Ingredients
150g Green & Blacks Organic dark chocolate 70%
Strawberries/ coconut yoghurt/fruit of your choice
Small silicone cups or muffin tray with paper cups
A pastry brush
Break the chocolate into squares and place in a heatproof bowl. Place a saucepan with an inch of water and bring to a simmer. Place the heat proof bowl with the chocolate on top of the saucepan making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water in the pan. Stir the chocolate as it melts making sure it does not burn.
You can either use a muffin tray with paper cups or silicone cups. Fill each cup with 1/4 of chocolate then with the pastry brush evenly coat the sides making sure there are no streaks. You might have to apply two or three coats. Once you apply the first coat let it dry in the freezer for 5 minutes then apply another layer. You do not want the chocolate to be too thin. Once there are no streaks place them in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Once the cups are ready peel them from the silicone cups or paper cups and fill them with the fruit of your choice. You can store the chocolate cups in the fridge. Enjoy!
